Arrive in Venice where you will be transferred by private water taxi to your superior tourist class hotel (Villa Igea or similar) where you will stay for 3 nights with breakfast daily. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Dinner
on your own at a local resturant. |

Day 2: |

Enjoy a full
day at leisure in Venice exploring the Duomo at St. Mark's Square and walking along the canals and narrow streets. An optional morning sightseeing tour is available if you wish. Later in the day, enjoy a ride in a gondola (included) and be serenaded venetian style! |

Day 3: |
 |
After breakfast,
explore more of Venice. You may want an optional tour or explore on your own to visit the Venetian islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Murano is known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Burano is famous for its lace and for its fishermen's houses painted in bright colors. Torcello boasts a cathedral with magnificent mosaics. |

After breakfast
at the hotel, you will proceed on your own to the Venice train station to board the train to Verona, city of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. You'll stay at a 4* hotel (Leon d'Oro) for 3 nights with breakast daily. Remainder of day at leisure. |

Breakfast at
the hotel. Today, you will go on a morning walking tour of Verona. Of interest is the Arena and the Theatre, dating back from Roman times. In the afternoon, stroll on your own through the streets of Verona, home to one of the world's greatest musical festivals each summer. Look at the interesting architecture throughout this ancient city. |

Day at leisure. You may wish to take a train to visit the city of Padua which boasts the oldest university and a beautiful cathedral. You may wish to rent a car for the day and explore the marvelous countryside of Veneto or explore Lake Garda, not too far from Verona, or visit the spa town of Abano and indulge yourself for the day. |
