Wednesday Morning Papal Audience Sightseeing Tour

Pass by some of the most famous sights of the city, including Piazza della Repubblica with its Nayad Fountain and Piazza Barberini with Bernini’s lovely Baroque Tritone Fountain. Continuing along Via Veneto, the ancient Aurelian Walls and Villa Borghese park until Piazza del Popolo, the northern entrance into ancient Rome with its Egyptian obelisk dating back to the time of Ramses II. Pass by the massive Castel S. Angelo, the ancient tomb of Emperor Hadrian. The Papal Audience will take place either in St. Peter’s Square, St. Peter’s Basilica or the Audience Hall; according to seasonal conditions and the number of pilgrims involved (Every Wednesday morning).

In the Summer months, the Papal Audience will be held at Castelgandolfo, the site of the Pope’s summer residence and the price is $65.00 per person.

Prices are per person, subject to change and do not include tips.  Tours are not guaranteed until paid in full.  Tour is based on seasonal conditions and the number of visitors participating. This takes place every Wednesday morning.
